PROFANITY Split With Label, Continue Work On New Material
August 13, 2002German technical death metallers PROFANITY have amicably parted ways with their record label, Cudgel Agency, and are currently seeking a new deal. The band are continuing work on the material for their next studio effort, entitled HateRed Hell Within, which they hope to record before the end of the year. According to an official statement from the band, the new songs "will be more technical and brutal but also more musical than our last record, Slaughtering Thoughts. HateRed Hell Within will be the next step forward in our vision of extreme music."
In other news, PROFANITY have posted several new MP3s via their official web site, including the group's covers of POSSESSED's "The Exorcist" and TERRORIZER's "Fear Of Napalm". Check it out here.
